At about 20K miles and numerous excursions my factory carpet floor mats were already showing wear. This by itself wasn't a big deal, after all they could be replaced, but the carpet underneath is more difficult to service. Therefore I opted to replace the factory mats with Husky Liners. The advantage is that they are plastic, have lips to catch debris and are molded especially for each vehicle. They can be purchased from many places. Even the dealer sells them but they couldn't tell me how much. :-\ Online they can be obtained at http://www.allprooffroad.com http://www.performanceproducts.com http://www.4wheelparts.com and probably http://www.jcwhitney.com.

I decided to get the whole set. After all I needed the fronts for sure. Often times kids accompany us on trips and THEY ARE MESSY creatures. It also isn't unusual for me to transport a load of fire wood or some other messy cargo and the cargo liner made sense too.

The front liners cover up behind the pedals to help protect the fire wall carpeting and they don't slide around even without the factory hook being used.

The back seat liners cover all the floor, as you can see, and they go far enough under the front seats to allow toes their normal room.

The rear cargo liner doesn't fit quite as nice as I'd like but it does the job. It also has provisions to slit raised areas and lead the tie down hooks through. The drawback to the liner is that you no longer have a flat loading area when the seats are down.

The quality of the plastic is not Toyota quality. I would rate it closer to Chevy but they are durable, easy to clean and in my case match the interior pretty well.
